Kollmorgen is a global leader in motion systems across a wide array of industries. The company introduced a turn-key torque motor for the robotics market called the Kollmorgen TBM2G. My team developed a simple yet powerful theme for the introduction, “Robot Ready.” This memorable line encapsulated the motor’s unique value and formed the nucleus of an expanded integrated launch.
Concepts | Four different overarching themes were presented to Kollmorgen in the initial pitch.
Selected Theme | “Robot Ready” was chosen for its succinct, action-oriented promise to engineers looking for a less-customized motor that would enhance performance across a multitude of robot designs.
Social Video | A short introductory video was leveraged across key platforms to build awareness among design engineers. A longer, more features-based video helped the sales team introduce the motor to customers.
Social Posts | The “Robot Ready” theme was tailored to specific audiences via paid and organic social posts. This post reached designers of surgical robots.
Collateral A robust collateral system was provided to the Kollmorgen sales team, allowing them to walk customers through the high-level benefits and detailed specifications of the motor.
